2013 Calendar of Farm Events


May 18th-19th, Spring Festival and Plant Sale-  9am until noon. Find heirloom plant starts for your garden. Tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, greens, flowers, and more! We'll be inviting a few special neighborhood vendors to share some of their locally-made or locally-grown goods, and we'll be offering Farm tours also!

September 21st, Harvest Moon Festival and Farm Dance- Come celebrate Fall and another wonderful harvest with our friends at Rose Roots Community Garden. Bring your cowboy boots and your best farm fresh recipes to our potluck and square dance! Celebrate new friends, local food, and sustainability at the farm!

Pumpkin Patch, October- Bring the family out to the farm for some Fall fun, buy some produce, find your perfect pumpkin, or your perfect Thanksgiving meal ingredients! We'll have winter squash, potatoes, pie pumpkins, beets, carrots, kale and other greens, and of course, PUMPKINS!!! Find your perfect jack-o-lantern pumpkin in our quaint, neighborhood pumpkin patch! Admission is always FREE! Family photo opportunities, too!! Celebrate Fall with us at the farm!

Volunteer Work Days 

We have several volunteer work days in the field throughout the growing season to help prepare the fields for planting, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, spreading compost, and just about everything else you might imagine! Our farm relies on our volunteers and community members to thrive, and we always welcome more wonderful and talented people on the farm! We have several other ways to help out besides 'field' work, so if you are interested in helping in other ways (accounting, marketing, teaching classes, hosting tours, building animal shelters, etc), please email us!
