We are a multi-plot, suburban farm in beautiful Arvada, Colorado. Now considered a suburb of Denver, Arvada was established in 1861 and is a historic and vibrant community in its own right. It is an ideal location for a farm with abundant open space, mature fruit trees, and historic ditches that remind us of this area's agricultural heritage. Our farm's name takes after Star Acres, the quiet country neighborhood along Church Ditch where our first 3 plots were located.  

Our produce is grown using only organic methods, and we specialize in heirloom varieties you won't easily find at your grocery store.

This year, we will be adding an exciting new site and will finally have a farm that people can drive by and visit. In partnership with the City of Arvada, we will be cultivating a 3-acre parcel of land in the Hills at Standley Lake Park at 84th and Alkire Streets. The park will also be home to a beautiful new community garden, Rose Roots, as well as a community orchard and pedestrian trails. Stop by our new farmstand this summer!

Last season, Arvada's local access network, KATV, joined us several times at the farm to film our new farm operations, from first tractor pass to our summer harvesting activities to a day at the farmer's market. Our new farm stand at 84th and Alkire in The Hills at Standley Lake Park is not yet complete, so we are anticipating a later opening than originally projected. We hope to have it up and running by June - please stop by then and check us out!
Our farm stand hours will be:
Tuesdays - Saturdays
4-6 p.m.

We have volunteer shifts, CSA work shares, and even internships this year. Some of these opportunities are limited, so call or email us soon for more information.
